The Bald & The Beautiful

Bennett is now 4 months old; I don’t know where the time has gone!
There have been big changes around here (well they seem big to us)
First:
My little man is getting some hair! It’s hard to see in the pics, but it is there. I never knew I could be so in love with a bald & toothless man!!!!!!!!!!
Second:
Bennett slept in his own room, in his crib all night last night. (He still woke up twice last night, but we’re getting there) This was probably a small step for B, but it was a big deal for me. Jeff kept saying “don’t you want him to grow up” & yes I do, just not so fast!
Third:
We went to the doctor for Bennett’s 4 month visit today; he weighed 15lbs. 4oz., & was 26 &1/4 inches long. He’s already in six month jammers (PJ’s).
While talking with our pediatrician today we decided to put Bennett on a little rice cereal at dinner, so this evening we gave it a try. We put him in the high chair, strapped him in, & a wailing he went. I probably should have nursed him a little first, but we know for next time. After a while he got the hang of it & really liked it. So did Lee, she was sniffing around the high chair looking for any droppings.

So these are the days of our lives….
Here are some pics from the last few days

My little man (aka: poppy pants man) in a big chair!

Can you see my hair???

Bennett loves his Seahorse that Auntie Sarah gave him.

Snoozing with Dad

Tummy time!

He really wants to get a hold of this frog! If B leans to one side he can bounce with one foot.

On the way home from church Sunday Bennett decided to eat his fingers. He looks like he's really thinking about it to.

Grammy & Grandad would say these jammers look like prison stripes, so this pic is for them!

Eating Cereal for the first time!!!

Lee sees an opportunity for a snack!!!!

Duck Lips!

Mr. Big Smiles!! (This is Bennett today on his 4 month birthday)
Bennett is wearing a lovely yellow sweater that his Great-Grammy made for him. I do love home made clothes.
