Easter Weekend

This was our first Easter with Bennett and the whole weekend was wonderful & busy.

Friday night we dyed Easter eggs with our neighbors. Bennett was more interested in banging the eggs on the table & trying to eat them.

Look at that concentration!

Here is our finished products!
See the little hand in the right corner; that would be Bennett's. He wanted to play with the eggs, so I let him. I just didn't realize the dye would rub off on him. That's one very messy, but very happy B!

On Saturday we took Bennett to his first Easter egg hunt. A local church hosted the hunt for the community. It was really nice, they had the Easter eggs divided into age groups, bounce houses and slides, snow cones and popcorn.
We sat him in front of a couple of eggs and let him pick them up.

Family Pic!
It was quite warm here on Saturday and there were snow cones at the Easter egg hunt, so we had to have one! We got Bennett a plain one (ice only), he loved it, chopped down. He's teething so it probably felt good on his little gums. Bennett & Jeff on the bouncy slide.

Bright and early on Easter morning the Easter Bunny came to see B; and he left Jeff and I some chocolate too!!! The grass was a big hit! Family picture after church Easter morning!!!
Mr. Big Smiles!
Here is some of Bennett's art work from daycare, those are his foot prints.
Watching the Masters. Jeff was teaching Bennett how to do a golf clap.

We had a community Easter egg hunt Sunday afternoon for the kids. Bennett enjoyed trying to eat the eggs.
I guess this one didn't taste that good.
Easter weekend was great, even though we couldn't be with our extended family, we were able to celebrate with our family (me, Jeff, & B) and our wonderful neighbors. There are a few of us who don't have extended family in the area, so we get together for holiday dinners.

Here are a couple pics of Bennett and Higgins. They are big buddies, Higgins will sit there and let B pet & pull on him. (I'm always watching, just in case B gets too excited!!!)
Lee was hanging around when I was trying to feed B (looking for any droppings)

These 2 pictures were just 2 cute not to include. Look at that tummy! & Holly Cats Bennett is drooling everywhere, I guess it's the teething???

It was a very busy weekend, we need to catch up on some rest!

(Hopefully this week I can post the pictures of the surprise 30th birthday party I through for Jeff a couple weeks ago, he was totally shocked.)
Have a great week!
