Bennett is almost 81/2 month's old.
Weighing around 21lbs & 29" long.
His 2 bottom teeth are in.
He's eating some actual solids.
Crawling all around & trying to pull up on things. (We are trying to baby proof the house) He gives this funny little Ha Ha laugh when he has something he shouldn't.
First thing in the morning when we go to get him he gives us the biggest smile & laughs.
He getting some more hair - its had to see in picture b/c it's soooo blonde.
I noticed this for awhile but it has become very noticeable lately. On both of B's feet his second toe is to chubby to fit in place so it sticks out on top of the other toes.
He tries to give you kisses now (he grabs your face & comes at you with his mouth open).
He's so excited when we pick him up from school he sticks his legs straight out, flails his ams, and gives a big belly laugh. (It's one of the bests parts of the day)
He's talking & singing all the time. This morning he sang/screamed all the way to church. He loves for Jeff & I to sign the ABC's song to him. (I must admit we sound pretty good!)
We've been in the pools some, the water seems cold to Jeff & I, but Bennett doesn't seem to mind. He starts swimming lessons at the end of the month. I'll let you know how it goes. (please say some prayers for us)

Happy Mother's Day & Bennett's Baby Dedication This Mother's Day was very special this year for several reasons.
It was my first official Mother's Day. I was able to spend the day with my mom; which we haven't been able to do in a few years. Bennett's baby dedication was on Mother's Day.
My parents & my sister were able to be here and share this wonderful day with Jeff, Bennett, & I. Bennett was quite the ham during the service. I was a little nervous he would be fussy in front of all those people, but no - he was a very happy baby. When they called his name & everyone clapped - he clapped for himself & was raising his hands to the Lord (Jeff said he was looking at the big lights & reaching for them - but I like to thinking he was giving praise) It was a wonderful service & Mother's Day - so THANK YOU! Jeff, Bennett, Mom, Dad, & Sarah for making this day so special!

Happy 30th Birthday Jeff! (a month & a half late)
(I've been meaning to write this post since April; time has just gotten away from me.)
My wonderful husband & Bennett's terrific daddy turned 30 in April.
I decided to throw Jeff a suprise party, 2 weeks before his birthday.
Ped & Julie came down, & Sarah did too. Jeff didn't suspect a thing - Ped & Julie were planning to come anyway, & I told Jeff Sarah had a bad week at school & needed to get away. He never questioned me!
The day of the party Jeff was going golfing with Ped & some of our neighbors. We decorated the house & set everything up while they were gone. Several of our friend & neighbors came - we all hid in the garage, so when he opened the garage door - we yelled SUPRISE! He was shocked to say the least; I think he really enjoyed it. He kept saying it's not my birthday. It was a great party & I was so happy it turned out great (& I was able to keep the secret from him from him).
Happy 30th Birthday Jeff! We love you lots.

So this is our update~ I hope I can keep up with this blogging business a little better.

love it! Bennett is SO cute (and so big!) Glad you guys are doing so well!!!

We use basic signs with Nathan and he is starting to pick them up. We use food/eat, drink, more, milk and all done every time we feed him. He has given us food/eat when he is hungry several times. He will also calm down when we give him the more sign so I know he gets it. Just be consistent with it and use them often.
